  • Posted to Are you looking for Social Media App Development?, Mar 16, 2018

No. And this "article" is an affront to good writing — heck, even any remote value. What is this, for example:

In a fast-paced life, it’s very hard to attract, engage and retain professionals over a social networking app. Before sharing their personal information on a social networking app, users are often concerned about their privacy and data protection. Performance and user experience are other aspects that matter a lot to the success of any social networking app.Taking cognizance of the user’s expectation from their social networking app, Root Info Solutions centered on native iOS app development, and entrusted the social networking app development task to its experienced iOS developers having a sound know-how of the latest programming language, i.e., Swift.

I mean, jesus. :( Look: I get it — someone probably told you to "Post on DN to get some traffic!", but please understand how that doesn't exactly work in your favor. All stuff like this does is make others annoyed, sorry.

I like it. Going flat was a good decision. Thankfully, a lot of audio plugins and software is moving away from trying to emulate the look and feel of physical hardware (my all-time favorite being the Valhalla series of reverbs and delays).

More or less, yes. There are so many things that can only be described in code. The trick is to make that code accessible and manageable for people not well-versed in it.

  • Posted to How To Make a Music Streaming App?, May 11, 2017

While an interesting breakdown, I feel it elegantly ignores the biggest aspect of making an app "like Spotify", which is not the app itself at all, but rather the global licensing and marketing challenges. Spotify, as with all music streaming apps (of which there are few now), does not make money after all.

  • Posted to Who is still designing desktop first?, Nov 29, 2016

Definitely desktop first, but then again, we make desktop software, so. :) While a lot of software is moving to the browser, app development software is still firmly fixed in the realm of ye'olde desktop computers. :)

Ugh. A link to a Storify site that links onwards to an "article" that makes little sense? Sorry if that's perceived as being mean, but this looks like it was posted by someone who doesn't know (or care) what DN is.
