Thanks for sharing. Looks really interesting project.

I am thinking of starting a podcast as well, do you mind sharing what theme (if any) are you using for your website? And what tools do you use to record these podcasts?

    • A tool for small businesses (restaurants, bars, retailer etc) to get instant feedback from their customers. I started it 2 months ago and I am currently running small beta with local businesses (2 of them) and hoping to launch it publicly by mid-Jan 2015.
    • Saw a pain for restaurant / bar owners to get better feedback. The users would get frustrated, go on yelp and write a bad review that could've been captured / handled better. And vice-versa there were people who had positive feedback but no easy way to reach the owner / manager.

I do welcome your feedback on the idea itself. Currently I have a system where the business gets a dedicated phone number where users can send an SMS and I am also working on a consumer app that they can download and send feedback via app instead of SMS. I have a client app that can be used by business owners to view, manage and reply to the feedback from their mobile device but they can also use the web dashboard.

    I hear your concern.

The reason to use SMS rather than building an API is to remove frictions. Most business owners can't integrate APIs but they can understand how the SMS based system works. They will have a dedicated dashboard to view, organize and respond to customer feedback.

Well maybe the experience you want to report isn't a pleasant one? I can see this being used to even push out deals for feedback.

What if they never have any access to your phone number? This way they can't reach out to you unless it is via our dashboard (which can limit or ban them if they spam).
