The system does actually create an account for you, even with the warning popping up. We're working on that right now.

Please do let us know if you spot any other weirdness, the influx of users is shaking out a lot of fun bugs.

It really does look like you're fully activated, from the admin side. Try clearing your cache and giving it another go?

Apologies – we're definitely still working out all of the edge cases. That particular issue is definitely on our radar.

I'll keep an eye on the functionality here, but it looks like you were actually activated. Try logging in?

We've found that these terms are really variable, defined differently from company to company. We think there's a comfortable overlap of interests and resources that would be useful regardless of what you call yourself.

I'd love to have this for myself too, but I'm also interested in playing this role for others. It's not easy to find someone willing to be your go-to "sounding board" guy, from either side.

That said, if you're ever in Toronto and want to meet up, hit me up. (That goes for anybody else in and around TO, too).

Interesting idea! I'm typically pretty skeptical of new "social discovery" apps, but at least this one has a bit of a new take on it.

As Wordpress evolves ever-further into the "do-anything" CMS role, I'd love to see something like this become native functionality – you could just 'snap off' the parts you wanted and hide everything else.
