There was a hi-5 wave around the office after we tested it. Thank you, so much!

Find someone you want to learn from in your local area, drop them an email and ask for a quick chat to present your book and get some feedback. It's easier to gain perspective at the industry from someone who's been playing the game for a while. I've been a hiring manager for around 7 years, and as painful as the interview process must be for you it is your chance to show people what you're about. My personal advice, present what you're good at and chat through your shortcomings and how you plan to overcome then.

I have the cheapest retina macbook pro at home, 13" and 8gb of ram, works perfectly with sketch and photoshop, you just need to keep a clean workflow and avoid cluttering your files. SSD makes a lot of difference.

as most of the portfolios I've seen here it's too much about the shape and not enough about the content, your work is good and it speaks for itself. sometimes overproducing is a big deal and I think that's where you're at, people who could hire you or be interested in your work spend 8+ hours a day staring at a screen, and seeing stuff that is pretty similar to what you're doing but for brands/products. my advice, as always, is cut the crap and skip to the chase. tell us what do you do, how do you do it, why do you like to do it and what have you done on each of the projects you're displaying.

too much effort on the form, what about the content? first write about you, what you do and your projects, only then start designing.
