The price says "1,00" as opposed to "1.00". It could mess with your conversion rate

Screw open-source, and screw the haters, Over-designing web apps is starting to feel more opulent, and less obnoxious. It's like a Lexus, do we really need a heated steering wheel? No, but it gives people another reason to buy the car.

I think you have a valuable service here and should treat it as such.

I think their long term strategy is to make the desktop itself a browser. I bet over the next few iterations they will be taking redundant elements away piecemeal. And in a future update the address bar, and this iterated toolbar design will be a part of the operating system's global toolbar.

There are a lot of easy ways to display interactions without actually coding. Most agencies don't think to do this, but all clients appreciate knowing what they are buying before they pay.

Work on your visual thinking, I save a lot of time by fleshing out as many details I can in my brain before going to the computer. You'd be surprised how much time is wasted being trying to do focused thinking with the internet in front of us.

  • Posted to Ask DN: Expose your side-projects, Apr 25, 2014 - I bought this site on side projectors a while ago, its a fun place to try out new UX ideas because of the steady traffic. This is a very much a side project but if you're in the market for a work at home job check it out :)
