I switch from Evernote to Apple Notes App some months ago and everything works fine for me with sync over iCloud.
At this moment I'm working about 40h a week with no schedule. I´m working for objectives and for me it's the best way to be motivated and be productive.
Thanks for your reply. So with your opinion in mind, now I don't know if a 13 inch retina will be better for me. Maybe I think that the i7 of the 15'' will be my choice. :)

I'm working with a 15 inch MacBook Pro mid 2009 both only mac & mac+monitor and I'm productive in both modes. You should set up full screen for all apps to use all pixels. In photoshop, for example, working on a laptop will need yourself to make more zooming, but that's not bad.
