If you hide the screen switcher icon--and have the keyboard shortcuts disabled for hidden tools (maybe you hid the overflow tool set as well?) F wont work--because it was a keyboard shortcut for that tool.

Generator still works! We haven't pitched it! You just need to label the layers just like always. Then enable generate assets. The team that worked on export heard waves of irritation regarding the layer renaming-- so they are taking a step back to simplify and focus that feature.

Adobe? I actually work on this product. It's my passion and my job. I am a designer too. These are things I want too.

It's hard to read comments like yours and not reply.

But I'll leave you with this:

When you start working on software that's 25 years old and that set the standard for design software-- you quickly learn to check your hubris and your assumptions about how that software gets made at the door.

That sounds like a fixable bug. Would you be ok sending me the file?

What do you love about Affinity? It felt to me they went down a very panel-y bloat road when they could have simplified much more.

I work on/for Photoshop, and I feel frustrated sometimes too... I'd love to hear more... about all the various ways you feel frustrated. Other than the general busy feel of Photoshop... what about your interaction specifically is frustrating.

But don't you use a mouse to select/move/draw elements? I don't like mouse-travel either. and I love command line interfaces and KBSCs for days.

I feel that hold-shift-for-10px jump scrubby stuff is rad... especially since you can't tab around the Ps interface so you're going to have to mouse over to the input field to begin with.

Because it's the switching from mouse to keys that's hard... not just the use of the mouse. (for me)...

So what if the SHIFT scrubby for font-size input was 10-12-14-16? instead of just whole number increments?

Ohh. I like that. My favorite feature in photoshop is being able to use the mouse to scrub any value... that said... it can be seen as inprecise... but!

Did you know in Ps that you can shift-scrubby slide (mouse over the type icon in the tool options bar)... Shift scrubby slide jumps the input by 10s just like Shift+Arrow does in Illustrator. That THAT said. Your idea for jumping to reasonable font sizes could be cool in Ps too.
