Thanks for the compliments and feedback! I'll be redesigning the catalogue page and adding about and documentation pages as well (I assume from your comments that you were browsing the current live site).
The new font catalogue will take the same card style as what's on the new home page (Dribbble link). Each font will have its own custom-made specimen with loads of different colours.
I love the suggestion of making the site and copy more human and purposeful. The phrase "webfonts that actually look good" has been Brick's 'slogan' since the very beginning so I'm a bit reluctant to change it, but I'm always open to suggestions and yours seems like a great alternative. Testimonials seem like an interesting idea; even a list of sites/companies using Brick would be nice for sure.
Thanks for the feedback!
No, they're not aligned. I experimented with just repeating the header as the footer, but it seemed a bit weird. Any alternative ideas for the footer?
I definitely forgot about the mission part. I'll add it in as another section.
And speaking of the features, what additional features do you like about Brick?
Oh, and thanks for using Brick! I really appreciate it.
Is it just me or are the window close/maximize buttons too close to the edge and content for some apps (Messages, for example)?
Otherwise looks pretty good!
Here's mine: http://alfredxing.com Forever a work in progress.
I made it to the bottom of your website and all I got was this stupid Mailto link
Yep. Looks great!
Note that the 300KB is probably the maximum size of all the fonts in the catalogue. I'm using EB Garamond in the previews, which is one of the largest fonts in terms of size.
If you're on a Mac (I'd assume most people here are), all fonts are rendered pretty well.

Hmm, that's interesting. It's hosted on GitHub Pages, so it should be quite stable. It's up for me right now.
