I like Sketch. The reason I am with it is simple: I dislike the pricing of Figma for being the only one designing in my environment. I also wait for one of the most amazing features of Sketch (The auto-layout) that will simplify the way I design so I'm sticking with it.

If Figma releases something like this, I would definetively change.

As a Designer turned into PM I disagree with this article in some things. The friction comes to who decides what the product should be or which approaches has to be done. It is the PM who owns the product, therefore, it is the one in need from the rest of the team with their expertise. The momento you let others take the role of ownership in the min details, everyting crumbles.

The feedback popup is really annoying. The logotype can be done better, as well the output looks so blurry, better to use SVG and try to not resize it with CSS or HTML attributes. Overall, I don't like the design but it's my taste.

It is reliant on many other aspects, and I am still in love with it but these new things are infuriating me a lot. I am also waiting for the Auto-Layout feature, one that will kill Figma forever.

Dunno, but it's days they're trying to promote their business.

I dislike the pricing system and the features they offer for different prices.

  • Posted to Why Your Company Should Stop Blogging on Medium, Aug 23, 2019

The main reason you should avoid medium is because they play with your audience and your content. The initial pump of audience bias you towards good feelings, that's why you go there, but in the long term, you lose a lot: they control everything, and after some time, your URLs will belong to them. That's why I always advocate for self-hosting + domain.

The other one is faster because it is a system input. The inline editing is the pain.

Create a company with good product. Sell it for millions. Enjoy life creating schools and living off-grid.

Again, straw man fallacy and appeal to authority, which is worse.
