Never stop asking questions, Rachel. It doesn't matter if you're an intern, senior designer or the CEO. Questions spark conversation, which typically leads to new ideas and growth.

If your workspace—or your colleagues—doesn't encourage asking questions, they have a problem.

    I like the idea.

Out of curiosity: how on earth are you justifying the premium pricing?

Fake accounts recommending a shitty product. This is embarrassing.

    Interesting.

It's aesthetically pleasing and contemporary, but hiding quick access to Departments in a hamburger menu and using a slideshow to communicate vital marketing campaigns surely has to take a toll on their conversion rate.

Extending the header to make room for a handful of the most requested departments and prioritizing the slideshow in a grid layout seems more user-friendly and conversion-oriented.

I really like their content, though.

The styling of the text makes the article unreadable.

    The pricing is insane.

When it comes to prototyping ideas with actual users I prefer going the extra mile and sculping out additional pages and micro-interactions, which I typically wouldn't spend time on when presenting layouts, components, and interactions for clients or front-enders.

As you've already experienced; lack of context and awareness kneecaps the legitimateness of your tests. When dealing with unknowing users map out the entire—or at least the primary—user journey.

Absolutely. It's sophisticated and all-around beautiful. We've already utilized the typeface on a client project.
