Designer News is where the design community meets.
I've been using the beta for a couple of months. Give these a try:
If you copy a library symbol to another file that also uses that library, it won't duplicate the symbol. It will just create a reference to the symbol from that library. But if you copy an instance of a symbol from one sketch file to another, it will always create a new symbol.
If your library file is renamed or removed and you can't edit the symbols, all you have to do is add the library again in the Libraries tab in Preferences. That should get your symbols working again as normal.
Thanks Sebastian. I scanned my own handwriting for those titles.
The original idea was to scan post-its with the challenges and goals written on them. When we design products we all define and vote on those challenges in post-its, so it felt like the most familiar way to present them. But the post-its looked terrible on the design, so I scanned just the text.
Thanks Kyle and of course, I would love to chat. I'll get in touch :)
:) Thank you
Those are good points.
About the fix bar, it was a bit of an unconscious decision. I wanted to make it feel like flicking through pretty pictures in a book or reading a presentation. The titles aren't really titles. Getting lost in the long scroll is ok. I didn't want any big buttons or layers. Just type and layout conveying all the hierarchy. Many of us look at so much interface that conveys information everyday that it's nice to see something purely conversational and focused on content.
About the bio, I totally agree and I think I will change it. I want to make the text shorter, add a photo, and add smaller paragraphs with more of my background.
Thanks Rik :)
Thanks Ben. Loved making that journal
Thank you Athyuttam! And thanks for using my little app
