Hi Ananggadipa, thanks for the feedback. The main reason behind this decision is that Orbit is for professionals/business in stead of consumers. But as you mentioned, lots smaller teams and freelancers do not necessarily use own domain emails, we are actually re-considerating to change it and will keep you posted! But free feel to drop me a message if you want to have an Orbit account, I can set it up for you :) Cheers.

Hi Cristian, good that you mentioned Dropbox. The main difference (besides storage, security etc.) would be how it organizes your files. It's more than just "folders", but with tags (like social media) and categories (like webshops), which can help you find any files back instantly. And you can also preview all kinds of creative files directly in Orbit, e.g. videos, Adobe files, sketch files.

Hi Jim, yes :) The AI is powering the search, so you can search for what's in the file without even tagging it. Have you given it a try yet?

Hi Chris, thanks for the comment. I'm working at Bynder so can give you some insights. I completely agree with you that the switching cost for migrating files into a new tool can be very high. That's why we are prioritizing integrations with the tools you are using now to make that process as easy as possible. Orbit will also auto tag your files in the backend for searching (with AI), so no need to tag every file on day one, while managing tags is actually quite straightforward too. All we want for Orbit is to be the tool that can assist us (designers, marketers, content developers) on daily basis and to work more effectively as a team.

As you mentioned "nice to have" v.s. "need to have", I'm really curious what would be your "need to haves" when it comes to a tool like this?

    Cheers.

The Grader check your websites and mark some grades based on measurable design elements like colors, fonts, links, socials, etc. It's pretty cool as design for most people are "unmeasurable". But from a branding point of view, design is necessary to stay "on-brand" for the brand impact. Check it out and share what do you think about this tool.
