I use Site5 (http://site5.com). They market themselves as web hosting for web designers and developers. Their support is top notch and speedy. I've used them for years and any issue that I've ever had has always been resolved expeditiously. I pay $135/year for unlimited bandwidth, storage, email addresses, and I can host an unlimited amount of domains.

    Shameless plug: here's a referral link: http://www.site5.com/in.php?id=45752

Mac users, this is extremely important.

I think it's safe to say that most developers and designers these days use Macs. One thing that most may not realize is that it's incredibly easy to break into your mac, even if your user account is password-protected.

In fact, if you lose your Mac to someone who knows what they're doing, they can have your password reset and have access to all of your files in under a minute, without even breaking a sweat. Granted, the methods are mostly geared towards having physical access to the computer and not-so-much network hacking related, but it's still very important to know.

Please, please, please give this a read and take the necessary (and simple) steps to help safeguard your Mac. It's currently not as safe as you think. (And no, you don't really need virus protection).
