Thanks, Johannes!
I agree with you, there is a balance of deliberation and pure amateur-ishness here. This is my first attempt at type design, and I'm still learning...this is one of the reasons I chose a monospace typeface— didnn’t want to get into kerning nightmares right away! :)
And yes, some curves definitely need some work, like the leg of the R, for example. But these tend to lessen when used at small sizes, and gives me a bit of leeway as well. Using this as a stepping stone for getting into some serious type design, so lets see where this goes.
Would definitely love some detailed feedback!
Ha, indeed, indeed. That's what I've decided to use, atleast for now.
I agree. FontLab Studio is pretty much the industry standard. But I couldn't possibly afford it, though. Fontographer, I remember using on my old Windows machine. Should probably give it another go.
Hm. Definitely something worth exploring. But a bit lacking in features, no?
Yup. Just downloaded the trial version...looks extremely promising! Thanks for the tip!
Thanks Volodymyr!
Thanks Julian!
Oh, nice! This is true gridlines, on both sides, not just the left, like the other ones.
I went there for the lines, but stayed for the data. Extremely well done, read the whole thing from top to bottom...great work, Catherine! :)

System 1 looks better, but it remembers GitLab too much. Both systems are garish— too many colours and gradients and overlaps— this’ll will look outdated in a couple of years.
They need something muted and classy, something timeless. Too many branding and identity revamps happening at the Mozilla camp of late...they need something solid and robust that stays for a while.
