    Thanks for your kind words!

    You're both hinting at the same direction and I agree, it's all about going deeper and understanding the context of our work. This, I guess, goes beyond Visual Design (it's just "Design" in the end).

    Having said that, there is still room for poetry and artistic excellence in design. In fact, it might actually be more crucial than ever. AI is all about automated execution, which is rarely enough to win human affection :-)

    I think homogenous design can (and will) be automated in the coming years, see grid.io as an example of this, even if it's still early days. Craft will become commodity.

    Visual designers will need to go 1) wider - looking at systematic beauty 2) more narrow - looking at poetry in the detail or 3) deeper - helping to ask the right questions.
