Very true! I may not use a 'Framework' but I definitely have a framework of my own that helps me get started faster and create CSS quicker than starting from scratch :)

This is what I think too. If I see an element that is clearly interactive and it doesn't have the hand cursor, it completely throws me off.

It's been extremely fascinating watching Jason and Caroline create their new business in public, and I've particularly been interested in Caroline's UX and Design process. Her process resonates with me because I always operate from a content-first perspective as well, but her process is still different from ours (at Wanderoak).

This article makes some very good points. I haven't checked out Figma, but I may have to now.

I tend to be wary of copy paste CSS code. I use it to check things out, but I don't actually use it.

Hot Jar is awesome. People use websites in weird ways and this REALLY helps you understand that.

Love Font Awesome 5! Backed it on Kickstarter and have been super pleased with everything that has come out of it. Especially love the SVG Sprites!

This is awesome! I loved the video. It really brought home the advantages of ARKit. The window was brilliant!

  • Posted to Do You Find It Hard To Design Your Personal Identity?, Nov 27, 2017

I think most people struggle with this. It's hard to hone in on the main aspects of your personal identity that you want to highlight. It might be useful for you to treat yourself like a client. Go through the exact process you take a client through, and get feedback from designers and people you trust. And also remember this: it's not permanent, you can change it whenever you want, so don't put too much pressure on yourself. :)
