I run HireClub where we help friends find jobs. It's a friendly and helpful community with almost 18,000 members. http://hireclub.com
I may be a little biased but Up All Night http://upallnight.us
The number one rule with Apple redesigns is to wait a generation or two while the kinks get worked out. If you travel at all the 13" is way better for portability. I still use my 2014 MacBook 13" and have not seen the need to upgrade (and I usually upgrade whenever I can).
If you are running the app in iOS Simulator you can use Uber Layer
I don't think people are saying as soon as someone is unpaid you go directly here. It's about after you tried and exhausted all other means. The dick move is not posting to shit list, but the client not paying you. Your best case scenario is admirable but we all know business doesn't always work like that.
What happens after legal routes are exhausted? What happens if you work in smaller numbers like $500 which might be everything to you but nothing to the client? There are very few legal recourses for smaller players. Not everyone can afford the legal route.
I like the concept of what you are doing but the relationship seems very transactional. If I'm paying someone to mentor me, it's not really a mentor. Clarity.fm was great about getting paid for your time without misusing the aspect of mentorship.
Mark the themes look great, are the going to be updated to Bootstrap 4 when ready?
I recently redid all our emails using Inky and it's fantastic. Any chance you will have a Inky parser in Elixir any time?
