  • Posted to New TNW (TheNextWeb) Logo, Mar 26, 2016

Their reasoning behind redoing the logo made sense and I like the general direction and the TN, but the W just doesn't look like a W. And as someone else pointed out, it's weird for them to be so fixated on the TNW mark when it seems no one calls them that and all say The Next Web.

Multiple misspellings in your screenshots not exactly reassuring signs of the software quality. Airmail 2 for Mac has been occasionally buggy in my experience as well.

I like it enough and the features are interesting so I'll give it a try. Also happy to see them have an "actually just give us money for our software" business model as well so I'll pluck down $5 to try it out.

Not sure of the need for this? Why would you need to be carrying an Apple Watch charger around in your pocket? The battery lasts almost 2 days in normal use.

Did Invision actually just buy Zeplin or license tech from them? The screen that Invision shows in their Insight demo is the exact same one as the Zeplin screen:

That's a new article that looks like an excerpt from their article that IS specifically for designers/tech people that was on Medium.

http://espn.go.com/espn/redesign/ is the link they were showing yesterday in the overlay announcing the redesign.

The usability of this seems pretty poor for desktops. The distance you have to mouse from the Categories click all the way over to Category 1 item is exceedingly far.

That attitude is completely baffling to me. It's not just you, but just can't really wrap my head around why it would bother someone.

Yep, we could find a half dozen Internet/mobile companies (yet alone companies in other industries) using the name before Bolt.co. This letter makes them look silly.

  • Posted to What's the Difference Between Sass and SCSS?, Apr 29, 2014

Seems like SCSS has very clearly won out and that the Sass syntax should be retired to reduce confusion. Even the official Sass site now defaults to SCSS for all the examples and hides Sass behind a tab.
