Hi Kemie! Can you elaborate a little more about the issue with nested symbols in Zeplin? Does Zeplin not show overrides of colors of an icon in a nested symbol for instance?
For Avocode it's pretty straightforward. Since we parse the design file, we get access to all the data about each layer and we display all the properties correctly. When developers inspect a symbol in Avocode, all the layers are expanded as if they weren't a symbol: https://bit.ly/2M8JuKn
But there is an icon that tells the developer that this is a symbol and they can still access the original Symbol by opening it: https://bit.ly/2MIXcoG
And we will display always the original symbol: https://cl.ly/sP0V
So with Avocode you get full access to everything. And you don't have to manually prepare exportables too.
Hey James, I'm really sorry that you feel that way.
Illustrator is actually on our roadmap and we'll be releasing it quite soon.
To be honest, we're actually really considering some changes to our pricing and we're even thinking about a free tier. I understand that our pricing is not very well suited for agencies and freelancers working for clients and it would be very helpful if you could share your use case so we could make the right changes. How would you like to use our product and who do you think should pay for the tool? Thanks for your feedback!
You're right! However, our rendering is a bit more precise. Sometimes Figma doesn't display Sketch designs correctly.
You're right! Didn't realize it works on the Windows version as well. But it doesn't work on Linux.
Thanks for your feedback. We'll definitely consider changing the wording with our lawyers.
Hey, Thanks for your comment.
The thing is, that in order to render designs properly in Avocode and programmatically assemble Sketch files from our converter, we need to parse these designs first.
This means, that our technology is anonymously disassembling the design data structure and saving design assets on our servers. In order for us to do this legally, we need to have these lines in our Terms of Service.
However, you don't have to worry, because we cannot open or use in any other way designs that are stored on our servers without user permission. All data is securely stored on AWS servers and encrypted with 128-bit SSL protocol.
Thanks for sharing this, Ettore! Please let me know if you have any questions or feedback.
I can't find your session. Can you e-mail me the PSD file to vu at avocode.com? Thanks
We won't mess up your layers. Check it out now!
What's the name of the converted file? I'll check what went wrong :)
