Yeah, I noticed that too. Nice one from the producers.

Article implies that the "open design" is a new thing. It's been there for long time in many forms ex. Co-Creation that includes all the stakeholder in the production process thus making it a team effort.

Creativity, Inc.: Overcoming the Unseen Forces That Stand in the Way of True by Edwin Catmull. We designers don't usually get any education related to managing people, projects and processes. So, this book is very inspiring to me because I want to be a better leader.

Dear XD Team, why have you made sharing so cumbersome? It used to be really simple and clear, now I really need to think about which action to choose. And if I accidentally save the design to the cloud, it's game over. Also saving the file now needs more work than it used to. Please don't ruin things that are working just fine and are following the industry standards.

Looks really great but why do I have to click twice "Try out beta"? I've already set my mind to try it. Also the items on the "Get started..." list indicate they are clickable but clicking them doesn't do anything. It's confusing.

This is good news! But we still need the sticky elements for prototyping!

As others have also mentioned, seems like you're reinventing the wheel. You can do it for fun and to gain experience but prepare for the fact that it might very well fail.
