I tweeted there, but I'll post it here too. It's not an "icon" it's their logo. I don't see why they would flatten it, you lose a lot of the brand recognition. Looks more like Medium or something now.

Just saw this on Product Hunt. Looks promising, but I haven't had a chance to check it out yet. What are people using for animation these days? After Effects, Principle, Framer?

    Hi Peter,

Big fan of Ghost, definitely excited to check out the new release. Curious though can you tell me what you mean by "custom homepages" (As mentioned in the blog post). I tried to find an example but couldn't is it just a parent directory for all the blog posts or are you trying to build more of a wordpress competitor?

Big fan of your work! One of my design mentors always told me the first 99% are easy, it's that last 1% that really makes an amazing product. Thanks for the great article.

I've been waiting for something like this for a while, I know there are plenty of people working on similar applications but I've yet to see one actually working. I'm excited to try this thing out!

Not trying to sound pretentious, but do people still use jQuery?

Complain about how dribbble & behance are ruining design.

You see the thing with those guys taking selfies in the gym is that typically they are in good shape or else the selfies wouldn't look any good. Similar to those "pretty pixel" designers on Dribbble or Behance, they are good designers and are flexing their design muscles in a way they know people will appreciate them. I can get behind the idea of another venue to display usable content but just like Instagram isn't a community for photographers to display the best photography, these tools aren't for displaying the best experiences. Instead, they are tools to display shots of stuff you are working on and you think other people would enjoy looking at.

The best part of the article is your link to dribbble with an animated gif & zero substance. I'm not trying to sound harsh here, and I get that you're working on a project that you believe is going to be incredibly functional it's just like everyone else on the platform you are showing a snippet or current state of an idea that you're working on.
