Love the colors! Also, I like that the clocks in the footer remained from the previous design — they're a nice touch.
Hey, there is a section in your survey that does not make sense to me. I said I do not engage in online news discussion, but the next question forces me to answer where I do engage and for how often.
I thought this was a great tutorial for beginners Pablo! Loved the sketch.
This is great! I export SVG's all the time and border behavior always annoyed me.
I bought Affinity Designer, and I enjoy it, but I will continue to use Sketch. Affinity Designer tries too hard to be an Illustrator replacement, and that comes with the same unintuitive aspects of Illustrator.
That said, it is still a great program. Extremely polished and performant.
How is it free?
The design is nice. A simple layout paired with a gorgeous, if overused, font works really well when showcasing work.
I would recommend using #191919 or something for the background though, as pure black kind of burns my eyes.
It has a mobile view, when I saw it on mobile Safari. You are correct about desktop Chrome though, it does not seem responsive.
The problem with grid layouts is that an overwhelming majority of browsers do not support it (http://caniuse.com/#feat=css-grid).
I remember reading about this 3 years ago and sadly not much has changed.
Present the project to others (peers, teachers, family, friends, co-workers) just as you would during the moment that matters.
I feel as though many people only practice presentations by themselves or with fellow group members, which is a mistake. Practice it out loud in uncomfortable situations. That way you get acclimated to that feeling of adrenaline without any bad consequences.
