They're actually starting to roll out the collections feature to a subset of beta users right now.

Thanks for the nice words, Lucas. :)

Didn't think about that, good point though. I think it might work better as soon as there are more items inside the navigation. I'll have to play around with it some more anyway.

Love most of the new design. Calendar feels a bit uneasy on the eyes to me, but the rest of the design looks pretty great.

    Uhm, well, no.

In some points it really is better (e.g. better consistency, etc.) yet in others this is quite weird. I dislike the icons, the widgets seem not well executed and the app redesigns are, in my opinion, just another way of showing the wrong things.

Actually, you can easily use Google Translate's text-to-speech feature to "listen" to the correct pronunciation. Just click the speaker icon in the left box. http://translate.google.com/#de/en/neue

  • Posted to Font sizing with rem, Jan 23, 2013

rem are indeed a very useful thing. However, I think the legacy browser issues make it quite a bit of a headache at times and if you structure your content properly, you shouldn't run into too much issues anyway (remember: there's no need to set a font-size on every element.)

Absolutely, Source Code Pro is currently my favourite as well.
