Maybe you should try something full-time. More secure and you will have more time to organize your life. :) Let's talk on Twitter? DM me @im_diogodantas

From my experience, events and networking in general are a good way to get new clients. Some people who are based in remote locations that don't have a design and tech culture can try to build relationships with designers online. Be it Twitter, Dribbble, whatever. Relationships can bring you new projects because when people need help they will try to go first for the people they know that can trust.

When you don't have new projects to work on you can try the cold emailing strategy. Honestly, I've never tried this much so I can't help you much. There is no shame is presenting yourself to others. You just need to be respectful for their time and don't be too pushy. Try to search online some strategies on how to land new clients and I'm sure you will figure a way to get out of this situation.

One thing that people sometimes don't realize is that as a freelancer your client doesn't need to be a startup or a huge company. It can be a design studio or agency that need some extra pair of hands. Working with other design studios or agencies is a good way to learn with other people, combat loneliness but at the remaining independent.

What are your plans? Do you want to find a full-time job at an agency or build your business as freelancer?

Thanks! Feedback is always appreciated. By scrolljack you mean the bottom to top transition when scrolling right? Just to make sure so I can improve it. :)
