Totally! Just started using Webflow again few weeks ago (did one quick project last summer) and gotta say I've learnt more about HTML/CSS than in the previous 3 years. Biggest takeaway: It's not about memorizing everything by heart so you could write code, but rather changing fundamentally the way you design and build interfaces.
This is awesome! Let's see if I finally have time to learn Framer, I'm running out of excuses soon.
This looks great! Especially the SVG part, and that leads to my question / wish: Are you going to dive deeper into the best practices of animating icons? Would definitely throw some money your way if that happens down the road! :)
Yeah, I tried this methdod but the end result wasn't as good as I expected, since elements inside stacked groups still were moved around randomly. I don't know if my workflow is some way flawed, but like I said the only remaining option was to go through every single symbol and stacked group one by one. Even manually selecting several and then detaching would screw up the end result.
Auto Layout is great, but it kind of messed everything up when it was time to hand off and deliver via Zeplin. The layouts we're a complete mess and I ended up having to go back and detach symbol -> unstack everything. One by one. What a tedious process.
Yes! This is great, will most definitely follow!
This is awesome! Was able to write down every single idea from our brainstorming Slack channel in 20 mins! I saw you already have pretty vast list for upcoming features, but one thing I was definitely missing was possibility to alt+drag a column to duplicate it. Would be extra handy when compiling a list with same kind of formatting on each column. Maybe it would be possible with the Mac app?
Anyway, superb job! Will most likely have to get that subscription before March then!
Wait, you're the co-founder of Designmodo and you're broke? I get this is your hustle and all, but posting self-help fairy tales on DN is kinda fucking smug.
This has been on my list for two years now. Finally time to make it or break it!
