This is very helpful. That all makes sense and thank you for your detailed response. Love the weekly and monthly breakdown.
Thanks for the AMA! I'm curious to hear how your teams are organized and what your team process looks like for tackling work. I'd also love to hear which methodologies you've found to be the most effective? Eg. 2-week design sprints in coordination with dev sprints.
Appreciate your time answering questions on this thread.
That 3P system sounds interesting. Do you mind expanding on it? How often and through what channel is this information shared?
Design should be a team sport and critiques by PM, devs, other designers or stakeholders are an important part of the process. The challenge is managing that feedback and making sure it's valuable and not just added noise. A week is hard to determine that as everyone on the team is still ironing out team dynamics. I'd suggest giving it a month and if things aren't improving, give feedback to the team and wait another month or two to see how things adjust based on your recommendations.
Completely agree. That animation is fun but gets tiring after a few loops and quite distracting from the actual content. IMO, it would be great to see that animation once and then shown again only on hover.
It's definitely pretty with beautiful illustrations and animations. However, I feel like it needs an additional section explaining how Inturn helps sell excess inventory. As far as a landing page design, I feel like it left me with questions and clicking on 'Get started' just throws a sign up form at me. Might be nice to show examples if available.
Interesting to see the agency accepting the 99 designs concept to work off of. I imagine most agencies wouldn't take that and would opt or encourage the client to go through an exploration phase together to better understand the problem.
Good article content, hate the title though.
Psst...you can use Taco for that :) - I'm one of two people working on Taco. Taco can aggregate your tasks across Trello projects - but it's main goal is to aggregate across all productivity services. (eg. GitHub, Jira, Trello, Starred GMail messages etc). Essentially we want to help people prioritize across their life, instead of just a single project.
