More export formats including GIF and Lottie are on the roadmap. I think your developers will be more interested in the Animation Specs rather than the HTML export
Along with the HTML export, you'll get a your-filename-specs.html, which includes all your animation parameters, easing, transition details and so on. Your developers can interact with that and get the spec data live on the same screen. I think that will be more useful for them, atm
That is a very interesting suggestion and plugin! I'll definitely look into this possibility too. Right now, the idea is to let you animate between artboards when you want the whole artboard to change, and reuse animated symbols across your prototype. But I like your idea and I'll explore this :)
I'm making a Sketch plugin called Diya that lets you animate symbols between different states and reuse them across your prototype. You can use this for buttons, switches and other components in your UI. Here's a quick video of how it is done: https://youtu.be/n27NLZCX2Rs
You can get the plugin here: http://diyahq.com
Drew, could you please help me in tracing this issue. Neither me nor my host are able to replicate this issue. Can you please open the console in your browser and tell me if any error is reported when you click on "download"?
Sorry about this! I'm trying to trace this issue, but until then, if you could please mail me at help at diyahq dot com, I'll send you a direct download link
I haven't decided yet, but it probably won't be on the higher end of that spectrum. Maybe in the mid range...
Thanks for the file! I see the error :). Let me get back to you with this. I have your email id from the subscription list, so I'll ping you back :)
I'm seeing that everyone is using symbols slightly differently, so whenever someone reports a symbol error, I'm working with them to take care of their use case. If you're in a position to share your sketch file, I can try and work through it and fix it for you.
"selected option while connecting artboard change by itself." Do you mean the action / animation drop down was changing by itself? Diya actually tries to guess your intention based on your previous selection. For eg, if you add a transition from A to B using swipe left, then if you connect B to A, it will automatically change the action to swipe right. This is just a default setting. You should be able to manually change it after that. Is that what you mean/
Are you getting an error message? When you say it doesn't work, can you share details on what action isn't working?

Here's an example of the specs
And once you upload the prototype to Diya Cloud, you can share it with anyone. Do you mean you also want the specs link to be shareable?
