To me, the slash points down as well, but in the logo explanation, they say, "The slash begins outside the perimeter and drives upward at a 45-degree." I found that interesting.

Same here! Been using this one for a while, it's incredible.

Is it an odd choice to use bubble icons in a square frame? Why not just use the existing squircles from iOS? I think that would have organized much nicer.

Think they will sell additional bands separately?

Not impressed. Seems like a gimmick in the place of something where Apple has already excelled: emojis.

Quick access to system apps that you probably don't want on your home screen (or in the case of the flashlight, access to a feature that doesn't have an actual app).

I have, yes. Sometimes it's a fun way to use my skills and build my résumé. Even though it would be nice to have some sort of pay, I'm usually grateful for opportunities to help people while doing something that I love.

Although it's not specifically drawing for me, I have found that if I have some sort of stimulation other than just sitting and listening, it dramatically helps my thoughts. Sometimes I'll play games simple games on my phone while listening to a speaker and I come away with a greater recollection than times where I just sat and listened.

You're right though, it does come across as being rude/distracted.

Love ambient as well. Can't get enough of Tycho.

And I love the sound of rain, so I play them simultaneously using Spotify and Raining FM.
