Hi there, great question! I can help answer this one. Ad blockers are a result of people fighting back against bad practices -- there's room in all parts of the industry to improve standards, thoughtfulness, and security. We don't have ad block walls on our sites, and we don't have plans to in the future. We actually pioneered a new type of ad and placement in response to interstitials, one that I think is more thoughtful -- we call it Prelude.
At Vox Media, we're always working on making better ad experiences -- we've got a Revenue team that's super passionate and amazing to work with. Shout out to everyone making Revenue better:
Pam, Alisha, Brian, Megan, Heather, Drew, Winston, Casey, Messay, Steve, Guillermo, Scott, Matt, Ngan, Marvin, Nate, Josh, Kat, Constance, Alesha, Jack, Victor, Kevin, Corri, Ian, Jacqueline, Drew, Briar, Emily, Andrew.
My hack is similar:
System Preferences > Desktop & Screen Saver > Screen Saver > Origami > Pick your Source folder with all your images
I tried "bing" and it said:
No results found for this search. There's a reasonable chance that it's safe...
Few people make good negotiators, and fewer places teach employees to negotiate properly.
You are the best! Thank you!
If you can find that picture of Josh rummaging through a crate of vinyls as a teen I will give you a high five
Is this spam? I swear this is spam.
This has been linked a number of times, but I always get a 404 of sorts. Anyone got a screengrab of this? Would love to check it out
I splurged and got myself an Embody. My work provided an Aeron for me, and I didn't like it at all.
I have no regret with the Embody, it's an awesome, comfortable chair that addressed all my gripes with the Aeron.
Having said all that -- who knows. You need to try it out for yourself. Everyone's needs are different.
