There are certain interactions that require a lot of workarounds. I like it when it works easily but there are parts that require you to go to forums and dig deeper which for me is not what I expect. I do think it's worth exploring and if you want to get started in web development.

Was confused what's this new feature but once I click and play around, I get the purpose of it. Definitely huge time saver!!

They obviously have a product market fit. Startup and new business don't have money for what we want them to pay and visual design is over saturated with tools like flaticon, freepik, canva, nounproject and free logo makers to make good enough design.

I agree I think the marketing style is used quite often but maybe not all think the same and if Framer team don't do it. No one will get interested. There are a lot of good design tools out there that is at par or even better in terms of features but doesn't get enough hype or no one even knows.

  • Posted to Should UX Design be a separate field? , in reply to Timothy Hykes , May 30, 2018

I think the comment is saying that fashion designer, architects are all trying to influence the experiences of their products but they are not called UX Designer, If they test and do research, they will still not be called UX designer. I just think the title is vague, Product designer, Web designer, Software designer, App Designer is more semantic and clear.
