Posted to Details: Basecamp 3's Work Can Wait , Sep 09, 2015 I got more basecamp spam from the fact that you can't @mention someone specifically in a thread than anything else.
Basecamp tries to be a conglomeration of discussion and project management, in my opinion it's a fundamental structural flaw.
Took converting to Slack and Github Issues to fully realize this.
