Hey all. Thanks so much for sharing the link. It's actually not done by the viz team, it's done by the product team. https://twitter.com/nprdesign
Glad to know the onboarding experience resonated with you - we worked hard at making that feel native...that is, audio-driven for a listening app.
Hope you continue to enjoy the app! Cheers
Application Error. Must have brought his site to its knees. Hope he gets it sorted soon.
Might revisit this. I ditched the last version in favor of SourceTree: http://sourcetreeapp.com/
From his website there's a link to the Github repo:
Seriously everyone. We're building a team so come work with us!

The phone version of this experience is almost nicer than the desktop one.
Thanks for writing this Marc.
Couldn't agree more. Also, being able to communicate your ideas on interactions and experiences to a developer, or stakeholders, is also part of being a great designer.
I am fortunate enough to work in an environment where I am able to show comps to my developers and have a conversation about transitions between states, or specific animations, and they're able to run with it and code it. And when we are doing something that relies on gesture, we always prefer to show live code (app running in the sim) to our stakeholders.
Cheers
It's a modified desktop wallpaper I've had for ages that I cropped to fit the iPhone 5 w/parallax. Not sure where I got it back in the day...
Mainly for tossing text/photos/etc. back and forth with my laptop.

There is also this one, though not as much about "in context" and more just about "in device", but maybe still useful.
