Good stuff Darren! Yea, the biggest of the limitations I've found is with caching the sprite. I've figured a way to add the inline SVG's to a social navigation element pretty easily - I think I may write about that soon!

I use Underscores - best out there in my opinion. I did add some basic functionality that I use for all my themes (Gulp, SASS, standard admin stuffs and Customizer stuffs). As you can tell, I use Gulp. It does everything for me; prefixes, file header info, SASS, minification (CSS and JS), textdomains, exporting zip files, etc. All of this is within Sublime.

I also use GitHub for version control.
