I'm guessing that you want to deliver designs from Photoshop in which case you could use https://zeplin.io/ as suggested already by other friends or http://www.wuwacorp.com/specking/ (I use it for fine-touching, last edits specs)
I tried some apps for organizing stuff and, currently, only Eagle meets my expectations - it allows me to add PSD/AI/Sketch files as well as video files or PDF. It would definitely need a mobile app as well, but, right now, I'm good with it.
I think it is about the login page ( https://i.imgur.com/WC8K9Mn.png ) but this is not quite new
Hi Rachel. First of all, I must say that designing icons is not a minor job at all. As you'll advance in your design career, you'll see that the basic stuff is the most interesting one to design. This is where creativity play a huge role in UI design - finding new ways in solving old problems.
Most of the time you'll probably need to design UI following guidelines - we really do not need to re-invent the wheel. But, there are some times when we feel the need to be different, to invent something - be it a dropdown menu, an interactive chart or just a shadow. I know, I know... we feel that all the time.
My advice to you will be to just play and follow your path. :)
you could try http://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/mx-master-2s-flow?crid=7
it took me some time to get used with it but I find it perfect right now
I think it is totally OK to use humor/jokes. I mean, like in real life, the easiest way to make yourself pleasant (or at least give you a neutral feel) at the very first stage of communication with a (total) stranger is by telling a joke.
