I use SnagIt.
One more thing, I'm looking into the plugin where the wireframe can be kept up to date if we decide to link within each Issue!
Thanks for your reply! See my comment above.
I do not, but am always open to suggestions that could improve our process. Thanks for commenting!
This has also been my experience, but I've also experienced developers feeling like linked wireframes on the Epic level are buried and don't look / guess. However, that is the point of having Epics linked right in each Issue – linking in one place. We also link our Prod. Reqs confluence pages to the Epics.
I use InVision Inspect for specs, but most of our stuff right now is being prototyped within a framework and my current need is more for wireframes / communicating functionality.
I record videos (starting to do more of this again), go over things with the team, and link to wireframes at the epic level/Prod Reqs.
Obviously, if a task can be done with a wireframe (small design/enhancement) that's a quick and easy link in the task.
Was very interested to hear what others are doing! Thanks for all of the replies.
Probably worth noting that I use the new version of Balsamiq Cloud and I love it's rapid features. I can bang out a lot very fast in low fidelity and get dev working ASAP.
This is a quick poll I'm taking on Twitter about how product designers keep track of their designs after iterating from originals. Thanks for your time!
Sharing my notes :)
A Reader Writes: "...there is no real value put in overall design or aesthetics of our apps, and I am feeling the need to be able to do work where the creative aspect of design is encouraged, but I'm not quite sure where to look."
This is a common situation I have not only found myself in, but am asked about often. I thought it may be helpful to address as a post for others to benefit or open discussion. I suggest a few possible approaches. Hope it's helpful and I welcome your additional ideas to offer support to other designers in this situation, and the businesses they can benefit – even if they don't realize it yet.
I was inspired to write this post after some personal happenings. I figured I can't be the only one who might need an article like this to share. Hope it helps someone!
Thank you again for reading and for your thoughts. I feel the same! I think the longer we work the easier it becomes to know what we like quicker, and what to focus on. At least for me, all of this has become a lot of gut + keeping my thumb on the pulse of the big picture. Cheers!
