Love the work you did for Thriva! The illustration style is so friendly, and unique to what other people are doing in healthcare right now.
That loading animation is great. Nice work!
Love that Creature series!

Great read. Really smart marketing by JetBlue to play into the post-Mad Men obsession with the Golden Age of advertising—and to launch their "agency" in the thick of NYC, where travel reigns supreme.
Now, if only I could get a ticket on the new RetroJet...
I hadn't seen that Falter site... the story is insane, but the design/UX is fantastic! Thanks for sharing.

Reporting back: The movie was very well-executed. It was inspiring to hear how designers at different types of companies all approach design as a solution instead of just an aesthetic exercise. It also dives into some specific design processes (always nice to see how other people do what you do). Would recommend watching for sure!
This is awesome-thanks Pablo! I will definitely check out your live stream. :) I love love love that you spend a ton of time scripting up front. I've worked with a number of designers who would be happier if there were no story to design around... which, as a story person, makes me very sad. :( Graphic novels and comics are one of those fantastic forms of communication where story and design are truly integral to one another.
What does your creative process look like to get from idea to finished comic? Also, do you ever work with guest authors? ;) Love your work and look forward to your stuff in my inbox every week!
