I got this on top result of Google searching "HSB" color
:
https://www.google.com/search?q=HSB+color&gws_rd=ssl#newwindow=1&q=%22HSB%22+color
Image result for "HSB" color The HSB model is also known as HSV (Hue, Saturation, Value) model. The HSV model was created in 1978 by Alvy Ray Smith. It is a nonlinear transformation of the RGB color space.
And Wikipedia is telling:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HSL_and_HSV
HSL stands for hue, saturation, and lightness, and is also often called HLS. HSV stands for hue, saturation, and value, and is also often called HSB (B for brightness).
So, HSL is not HSB.
I didn't notice there's an HSB. I was using HSL everyday but never heard HSB, so I thought they were talking about HSV when saying HSB. That's strange. Probably my mistake, I should double check if the HSB in Sketch is the same as HSL in CSS.
Does not make sense to me. How about these posts? http://colormine.org/convert/hsl-to-hsvhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HSL_and_HSVhttp://colorizer.org/
I still think they are mistaken HSL for HSB. Aren't these two different protocols?
How about HSL color?
