Yeah it was... they went thru more then you think : )
Hey Paul, thanks for your enquiry. At the moment it's all me! : ) I've organised it, found a venue and paid for it all myself in advance. The guys at BlkBk.co are helping with getting the word out which is very much appreciated. Would love for you to be involved in some way. I'll send you an email if you want to chat further.
Paul! I know you're lucky enough to have your own business empire mate ; ) Love Onsite.io and what you do. Just sent you an invite, would love it if you could come along, feel free to let your community about this too - I gather you're in contact with a few freelancers in London?
Hey Tim, thanks for the tip. Will check it out : )
Hey Dean, great feedback. You're right it's not a super, high detailed style guide. Maybe it needs to meet the more asset delivery / non designer crowd as mentioned by some.
Hey Tayler! Great thoughts... Yeah I'd love to see what you have made. I think you're spot on about the logos / types of logos... maybe that's more applicable here. I'm getting a lot of feedback from designers saying it's not neccessary but maybe I'm targeting the wrong market / use.
Hey Cory, yeah great feedback. I've got about 14 signups at the moment. I'm gonna ask the directly, will see what they say : )
You had me at.. 'Come slate it' LOL!
Thanks A Paul, as noted, yes it was never gonna be a fully featured style guide with all the bells and whistles of the other sites.
One of the selling points was that I would actually build it for people as apposed to self service.
For a free version, I guess if I made a super simple, do it yourself app that could be ad supported as an option.
Hey Dan, yeah true... at the end of the day the product is meant to help the designer via the brand owner I guess. As with all side project I throw them up and gauge response. So far the response has been only lukewarm. I've had about 200 visitors to the site and one sign up... might be an indication not pursue this one.
