I love pizza, I love books, I love design. Do you think there will be an English language version so I can bring these three loves together?

Nice! I accidently leaned on my keyboard and hit the g key - had a fun surprise!

Huge fan of Treehouse. They've got the best beginner-to-medium level software training content (and they're slowly building out a library of more advanced content - although if you want the super advanced stuff check out specialised places like Egghead and 'course warehouses' like Pluralsight) and a pretty good community. I've been a member with them for 6 years at this point, and their courses helped me move from a media degree to a software engineer role. From a product point of view, they have probably the best e-learning platform I've ever seen. All the other players in the space (except for CodeSchool) have apps which look at least a decade outdated. Treehouse's one looks and feels truly modern.

As I'm not a designer, I can't judge their design content very much though.

I had a very good experience with https://www.thestudio.com/ when we needed to order 1,000 pins (total, of 5 designs). Everybody I spoke with was helpful and knowledgable and we got multiple suggestions from their designers and factory for how to make our designs work best in the medium. I'd definitely use them again, and I'd go as far as requesting to work with the same sales, support and service people.

I'm not used to dealing with vendors, but I thought that their sales team was very high pressure. That said, I had a hard budget (which was drastically below their asking price) and they worked with me to find a price that suited.

What are people's favourite alternatives to Ember? I like the syncing (when it works), I liked their annotating (until they ruined it with this 'smart shapes' crap) and I liked the basic filtering/tagging.

Looks really interesting! I'm giving up on Mailbox, even with their recent update, and am trying to find a replacement.

The Dash feature looks especially interesting - but I wonder if that kind of data would result in me getting bogged down in the minutia of email, rather than being able to easily blast though it.

I'd definitely appreciate a trial though.

Doesn't that imply that Ember users will need to pay to upgrade to get a non-buggy version after the public beta?

VSCOcam is fantastic, my favourite photo app by far (it dethroned Camera+ about a year ago) - but I really wish they'd spend some time focusing on UI and UX. Figuring out how to do something in that app can take multiple attempts, and I've had to force-quit the iPad app at least once rather than figure out how to navigate out of a photo gallery.

I have both Ember and Clear. While I've never really had any problem with bugs in Clear (except I feel that you used to be able to pinch on the Mac app, but can't any more), but you are totally right about Ember - LittleSnapper was fantastic, but Ember seems to get bugs and keep them.
