What the heck is up with your use of "yr"? Your spelling and grammar are great except for this one recurring instance. Are you unsure of the difference between your and you're? Is this a hip new thing the kids are doing? Yr driving me crazy!

I've been using Zeplin.io for specs lately and am so excited about it. It allows devs to view the sketch files and easily get all of the information they might need (colors, sizes, spacing, etc. etc.) without me having to spec each piece individually. It's still in Beta so not fully feature complete but the team is responsive and it's free! Definitely worth checking out if you find yourself spec'ing a lot of screens.

So you're saying that by doing an incredible job of documenting and promoting their process, they deserve to be made fun of at every turn?

Sorry – I guess "lizard brain" isn't a very common phrase. I was meaning neither to offend reptiles nor say that OP has the "wrong brain." I've always understood the term "lizard brain" to describe the crude, sex oriented thoughts of youngsters. A little research shows that that definition isn't terribly far off, but isn't 100% spot on either.

You're saying it yourself right here –

"More or less interested in ... the on-going debate about what their logo may or may not look like."

Whether you think it's great or not, you're still stirring the pot on a gossipy, middle school topic of conversation that probably doesn't make anyone feel good about their work. Why keep discussing it?

    Come on. COME ON.

Can we be done with the "huhuh Airbnb's logo sort of looks like balls because I have the lizard brain of a teenager" posts?

It's their logo. Get over it.

I'm totally with you on this one – I think it's a confusing example that will lead to others misusing the floating action button ("But look! Google does it on their Nexus page!!") There shouldn't be a distinction between apps and marketing websites with new design guidelines, everything should be held to the same standard.

That being said, I do like the new Nexus site!
