Thanks, Gabbie. Hope you found it interesting! I really think designers has an amazing oppurtunity to reinvent themselves in the next few years thanks to new technologies.
Oh, yeah, the waitlist is too long and we couldn't keep track on everyone who signed up, my apologies for that.
Would be happy to send you an invitation - can you please send me an email to hello[at]umake.xyz?
Thank you, Evi
I added you, c k!
Sounds super interesting. Are you creating 3d architecture designs in SketchUp?
Sounds super cool. Didn't think about it as a wireframing tool for game designers :)
Thank you, Cihad!
We can't wait to let you try this. We're making some UX improvements and would send new invitation in the next few weeks!
As a designer, how would you use UMake?
The purpose of the video is to show how simple user experience can make huge difference and allow people, that would never learn CAD software, to create 3D designs easily.
We are not creating UMake to replace a 25 years old software. Our goal is to bring 3D design and 3D printing to more people. The UI and UX of high-end CAD/3D design software is complex, this is a pain both for professionals and consumers. We are working to change that.
Thanks for the feedback and I hope that answers your question.
no worries :)
Thanks for the compliment! We working hard making UMake incredible.
Sure! If you signed up, you should receive an invitation in the following weeks.
We ♥ MakerBot!
Definitely something we want to do in the near future. Just curious how would you use it and how texture mapping could help you.
I was working at Autodesk and led the design and product for AutoCAD 360 :)
