Nice and attractive 1 (or half a)-minute content :-)

  • Posted to How many hours a day are you productive?, Oct 12, 2018

I’d argue most “non-productive” time is well spend by giving my brain room to think about current projects. It really helps to fill your brain with some problem and than let it sink in for a bit.

Deadlines are a great way for me to unlock creativity, because that means i really have to deliver. It’s surprising to see what you can do under a bit of pressure and in a small amount of time. But that doesn’t work all day. I’d say it especially works when the rest of the day is a bit of a drag or slow. At least for me.

So i guess it really depends on the type of projects for me. I consider every hour at the office as a part of my job, i think goofing around for a few minutes with co-workers is part of my job and talking to them about various subjects is part of my job. Those are underestimated ways of connecting, building team spirit and inspiring your creativity. As long as you get your work done, you are happy with your work and your clients are happy, there’s no reason to change.

Stacks are looking magical! Love the drag & drop to rearrange elements.

    Looks amazing, really useful!

Will we be able to drag multiple images or a textfile to populate a grid? I really love this feature in XD. Auto-updating from a linked source would be even better :-)

  • Posted to AMA: What’s Next for Adobe XD?, Nov 29, 2017

I’m currently working on a few projects with XD.

Since I’m used to wireframing in Axure and designing in Photoshop, I have been wondering if there is a better and more efficient way to move from Low-Fi wireframes to High-Fi designs.

I don’t feel XD is there yet, but obviously patience is a virtue and we’re all part of a developing world.

I like the interactivity of Axure, I’m no coder but even I could make sticky elements and stuff move on a certain scroll point. That would be great for XD.

What i don’t like about XD is that it feels my creativity is limited. As a designer i crave on text and paragraph options. I would love to use symbols to make a button with a label and an arrow icon at the end of the label. I imagine the button shape to auto-adjust width and the arrow to reposition based on text length. Moving then to the interactivity: giving such a symbol states for color variations or interactions.

Those are my biggest priorities. Honoustly, advancing exporting / sharing / handoff should be your secondary focus after building a great design tab and a great prototyping tab.

I’ve already voted several ideas on UserVoice. Thanks for listening!

I like it, Helvetica is a bit boring in my opinion and San Francisco is at least more original. And i think it's great to have the same font on all devices and platforms.

It's already happening. Design-thinking is transforming businesses at the core.

I'd rather go for the PRO, i don't like to compromise too much on performance for work purposes.
