Those are options - you can choose to keep hidden layers and symbols.

Can't remember what site it was, but I've had one that links your account to your phone number and then texts you a one time use code every time you log in - ends up not needing to remember email/username and password, as you just type that and get the code every time.

Obviously a little more labor intensive but an interesting method.

Broken for me - when saving files as a Sketch 48 file, then opening them, I lose the "View" menu - meaning I can't see layouts, rulers, any of that.

    One option is LiveSurface:

It plugs right into Illustrator and has about a billion "surfaces" (seriously: that then you can use for high res mockups.

It costs money but is probably the "best" one out there.

  • Posted to Sketch: Linked images to reduce file size, Jul 12, 2017

If you already have the basic sizes in place, you can also try File -> Reduce File Size to see if that has any effect (of note, I believe this shrinks image sizes done in a possibly destructive manner).

But yeah, like Matt said, Sketch might not be right for this task.

Could always try something like Contentful - - that just gives you all the content as JSON so you can do whatever you want with it.

You don't owe ANYTHING to those who would exploit your labor or time.

I think the biggest reason comes from the DN about page: "Designer News is a large, global community of people working in design and technology or those interested in the topics."

It's that "design and technology" piece that I think leads to the focus on those aspects - from the beginning, DN was VERY focused on web and product design (and the tech behind it) vs trying to be a "design" community.
