    You guys didn’t get it. At all.

    This being an OTVar font is the most important thing! You sure could fill the space with any other typeface of your choice, with better legibility or worse. It doesn’t matter. What does matter for this particular one is that IT IS A F---ING OTVAR IMPLEMENTATION!

    Robin, I’ve seen you on Twitter and been meaning to engage you for a while. Article is well-written and I like the typography.

    But one question though: you plowed through the history of Western typography only to say you’re not sure where the futures of typography is going? Because there simply are too many futures? Because technology changes too fast and, though we now have OTVar and OT-SVG, nobody on earth can predict what the next browser feature would be?
