Actually, the system font stack is becoming increasingly popular, San Francisco on macOS and Segoe on Windows. GitHub uses it throughout the site. This article goes into detail. I think the reason people don't want to use the standard system fonts is because they're not really pretty enough, but (subjectively) San Francisco and Segoe are quite pretty. They've got tons of font weights too so I can do super thin weights on titles, etc. Not having to contend with the flash as the web fonts load in is also really cool.

You can remove the Watch app.

Thank god for this, my phone can finally stop serving as ad space for the Apple Watch.

Some people believe that Minecraft's progress and space between updates have slowed down now Microsoft owns them.

Those people are ill informed. Minecraft has always been slow to update because it has a very small team working on the actual game, and it's always been slow to provide major new content.

It's cool and fun and trendy to hate on Microsoft basically. They're the big and bad evil corporation in most people's eyes.

Maybe it's an "all PR is good PR" thing.

Not too impressive at first but if you scroll half way down it has this awesome parallaxing comic book type bit!

Wow, I really don't like this at all. When I was young I used to get Ministry of Sound's CDs and I enjoyed them a lot. I was a lot younger but even to me as a teenager their logo stood out as extremely distinctive. It's not a brand I love or anything but the music used to appeal to my teenage sensibilities.

This new logo has practically none of the distinctive, defining features of the old one. I know some call it poor taste following the Instagram debacle to say a logo is bad without knowing the full story, but to me it sucks. It's got none of the character and charm the old one had.

Side by side, the old one is far better.

    Ministry of Sound logos

They could have modernized it by simplifying the crown and maybe switching out the serif text for a sans-serif, but IMO this new one is no good at all.
