Took the words right out of my mouth. Seriously pricing out freelancers at $20p/m and the freelancer account doesn't get the same privileges as the agency plan.

I like the design of it etc. but only thing stopping me from using it is that it doesn't have some of my existing portfolio. Quark etc.

This is a nice design though. Nice punchy colour palette and great font choices if you ask me. Don't know where that burger icon is going though when you make your browser size larger.

When DN had new ownership and asked for feedback my suggestion to remedy such a problem was to act similarly to StackOverflow. So when you go to post a new topic and type out its title, you should automatically see a suggested list of topics that have already been posted containing the same keywords as your own title. That way it might deter people from posting the same topics twice or even thrice in some cases.

This seems to have been ignored so far?

Putting aside the disappointed designer comments in this thread and the obvious flaws with the type, I'd be VERY interested to see the conversion rates on this page compared to previous landing page designs.

Compared to their strong internal pages (good use of type, imagery and content) the homepage does look weak in comparison and it doesn't facilitate a consistent browsing experience in my opinion. That being said I think because of how disappointed some of us are with this page shows how far Squarespace have come and how well thought of they are (were) in the design community. They set the benchmark for the last 18 months but they're the guys with the data so they must know something we don't.

Make my life Easier: HTML Email standards to get with the programme.

Make my life Better / Enjoyable: Time and lots of it! Just enough in the day that I can put time aside to do things I want to do. Even if thats playing in PS or keeping fit.

I find movie soundtracks are the best. Anything from The Dark Knight to the Assassination of Jesse James and The Social Network anything that makes an impact on me when at the cinema.

If i'm i'm not in that mood then Bonobo, Alt-J, RJD2 or some classic Jazz generally hit the spot .
