Pretty cool! I wish the various timeline sections were better explained in the app... the "Top" timeline was showing tweets from people I don't follow, but showed them because someone I do follow replied to it. More transparency in how this all works would be nice, but great start.

MUCH better. It doesn't use your computer's CPU to drive it, so it's much more stable, doesn't crash, and doesn't impact the performance of other applications. Been using it for a few months and it's really outstanding, and I was a previous Duet user a few years back.

    Works over USB as well.

2 & 3 are very different and more about the critique that hasn't been voiced before.

This is really outstanding and I think he found/recreated some assets that were nearly impossible to find. I grabbed the book and it's an excellent history that would otherwise have been lost. Highly recommended!

It sounds like you work at a terrible place. You should look for a new gig at a company that values user research. I have an unlimited monthly budget to pay users for their time and typically talk to users (industry professionals who use the SaaS application I work on) for 3-4 hours per week. Some weeks I'll conduct 8-10 hours of user research, it just depends on the project and what part of the project's lifecycle we're in. Don't get discouraged, it just sounds like you need to find a place with values that match up with your own.

I bought a copy, it's nice but I'm left wishing it had a few features like the ability to bump up the text size or tweak the CSS stylesheet that they're obviously tweaking themselves to change the layout. I currently run mobile.twitter.com in a site-specific browser with my own CSS changes applied (to turn round profile pictures into roundrects, change some spacing and sizing) and I'd love for it to look more native like Boxy but still with the ability to have my own CSS changes applied. Good start though! And smart to base it on mobile.twitter.com since it's very lightweight.

To be honest, I couldn't get past the images swimming/floating around with my mouse movement. It was sort of making me nauseous like I was dizzy and things in my vision were moving slightly and I didn't know why. I had to close the tab so I didn't throw up. Just some feedback.

Just saw a hand for the first 3 seconds so I closed the tab. Can't believe our industry thinks it's cool to have these multi-second loading indicators again.

Haha, sort of brutal how you dumped all those links
