Since the whole website is based on videos, I made a decision that we don't really need that play icon as it would be a distract for the thumbnail and also it'll be everywhere. Users would know it's videos, but if one embeds a video on another website maybe I should add one. Or for a hover effect I should give that a try. Thank you so much, I'll give it a shot. (Y)

First of all thank you for the feedback, I really appreciate it.

The target audience would be definitely the users on Vimeo. As I've mentioned in the dribbble description, its still a work in progress so I haven't even finished the video player yet. But I'm planning to fix and add the missing features the current video player is lacking. (e.g. thumbnail preview while scrubbing, advance custom colour templates for the video player etc)

I've been using Vimeo for years now and they really don't update their website that often. I've always felt their UI to be kind of close-packed and distracting, thats why I started this experimental project in the first place. I wanted the users to focus on the Videos more. I'm already animating an intro video on (AE) with some UI animations that'll hopefully help with that too.

The menu works a bit different, the in-active ones aren't the sub categories of the button "create". I'm just teasing the users what's behind the rest of the buttons, so that even if they want to go to the next button "watch" you don't really have to hover "watch" but just navigate on easily (I'm sorry but I think It'll be a lot easier for me to animate it rather explaining it, I hope you understood that haha)

Anyways guys, really appreciate the feedback. As I've said I'm trying to get in to UI/UX, so I've got a lot to learn. Cheers (Y)

Why do you say so? I've always wanted to try it but have been stuck with the native reminders app on iOS.

As I've mentioned I mostly do Animations, so my daily used softwares would be After effects, Premiere Pro and C4D. I'm just wondering if there is a significant increase in performance between both the systems.
