Duly noted. Tried doing it from scratch, took me 6+ years and still no end in sight, LOL. As a designer, building your own portfolio is the hardest thing to do because you're your own client.

I just needed a platform to showcase the work as quick as possible. So I took the "done is better than perfect" route. Hopefully one fine day I'll deliver the custom site : )

Yup I'm on Figma 100% now. I made the switch since Sketch v.42

The biggest Sketch file I've "converted" successfully into Figma is this: https://janlosert.com/store/dashboard-ui-kit.html (~70+ screens in a single file). Only took a few minutes and replace missing fonts.

Open the Sketch file with Figma :)

Seriously, with the version history in Figma you can create snapshots (by renaming certain history items) to "versionate" design files and it won't bloat your file.

Somebody should create a website for this. I've been encountering this same problems many times haha.
