It seems the last file format change is 43.0. It should be safe to test it out if you've already using Sketch 49.0. It's safe to 48.x also IMO.

Why do you need a framework if you aim to SMALL in size like this? I meant you can create it as snippets and use as require.

For simple app, cover as much as you can. Of course, iOS 9 first. We usually consider the screen sizes ( iPhone5s / iPhone 6|6s / iPhone 6|6s Plus ) more than iOS version.
